Effective August 17, 2008. It predates the 2020-07-26 amendment to 30 TAC 344 and adopts the 2009 rule (Rule Project No. 2007-027-344-CE) by reference, so every standard in it is checked against the current 30 TAC 344. Whether this file is the current codified text was not checked. Dated before the 2020-07-26 amendment of 30 TAC 344: check every backflow, design or installation rule in it against the current rule.

Why the wording is not on this page
This is a US government work, free to quote and cite. The corpus reads it page by page from the official copy, and a citation names a page of it, so this page says what the document is, which edition it is, and links that copy.
How a question cites it
A citation to this document carries the page number of the file this site read, an exact quote, and the anchor of the page it is on, which counts the pages of the file and not the numbers printed on them. You can check every claim against the copy linked above.
